Unclaimed Property? Nah...oh wait, YES! Perhaps for You, Too?

I don't always have the news on in the morning, but I did today and something mentioned captured my attention. One news personality shared 2 web links for checking to see if you might have unclaimed property with your state. My first thought was "nah, we don't have any unclaimed property," immediately followed by "why not check it out anyway?"

So I did. It took just a couple of minutes--I searched my Best Beloved's name and then my name for the state we live in now (TX) and then the state we once lived in years ago (MD). SURPRISE! We had $50 in unclaimed property in Texas! Cool! Hey, Jack--any Duck Dynasty fans here?--that's "extra" $$ we didn't know about yesterday and it just took a few minutes of time. Perhaps you might want to check it out, too?
